Can’t LIVE Without…Crown Jewels

As a person of worth I carry some things with me that help me maintain my value and make sure others see it as well. I call them the crown jewels. This week I’m sharing some of the crown jewels I can’t LIVE without.

1. A Mantra- These are the words that remind you of who you are and what you are capable of. These words keep you focused and draw the line in the concrete preventing you from settling.

2. A Vision-You need to see your worth if you expect others to see it. So, a vision for your life is so necessary. Don’t worry you can make revisions when necessary. Who do you see yourself being?

3. A Mission- Visions become realities when missions become accomplished. The mission is how you are going to accomplish the vision. How do you communicate you are a person of worth and are to be treated as such? It’s not an overnight process. It requires commitment and dedication, steadily being a person of high caliber, refusing to settle in any and all aspects of your life.

4. Holistic Lifestyle- Speaking of any and all, you can not have an obese wardrobe and a malnourished mindset. You are the sum of your parts. You are your mind, body, and spirit. You are your physical health, mental health, spiritual, emotional, and relational health. It’s imperative that you pay attention to each aspect of who you are and care for each part. Stop seeing yourself in bits and pieces, loving your eyes, hating your thighs, loving your brilliance and hiding it in the boardroom (or bedroom).  Pay attention and value ALL of who you are and make sure others are doing likewise.
