Can’t LIVE Without…Finding the Good

So if you have been following along you know that I have been working though some tough times in my world. However, I find that if one is going to actually make it through, one must cultivate the ability to pull out the positives despite their current predicament. And that ain’t always easy, but not easy doesn’t mean impossible. So some of the good things that have been going on during this rough patch….

Maintaining my foodie credibility- trying new restaurants like City O City in Denver, Co that makes amazing everything but I melted at the gluten free raspberry filled chocolate cupcake.

Trying new recipes- like chickpea tacos. So very easy to make and delicious to eat. Trust me, your body will love you for it ❤

Making My House  A Home- I have been spreading my creativity by decorating more of my new house. Here’s a picture of the bay window area that’s coming along awesomely. Just gotta add the curtains!

Reading- For as much as I like to write my own words, I really do like spending time reading someone else’s. I am in between two books right now, but have really been enjoying The Gift of Imperfections By Dr. Brene Brown.

Traveling– I’ve traveled a good deal and in just these two weeks I’ve been to Denver and head to New York City Friday. Traveling is one of my favorite ways to gain perspective, see and appreciate everything from the process of traveling to reaching my destination. Every time I go away, I( as in my better more authentic self) come back.
